The whole idea of gratitude has become a daily thing for me. It’s one of those things Pat and I have learned from our mentors. It’s quite amazing how they all start their day by thanking the lord above for at least three things. Not wanting three things, but thinking of 3 ways to be thankful.
It’s something I do in the hot tub. I have a routine. I get up, grab my Hydrogen water bottle, and head to the hot tub. I say good morning to Mike (my brother-in-law) who passed away over a year ago, way too soon. This picture is of my sister, Mike’s wife, and probably the strongest person I know. What she has gone through is unimaginable and my heart goes out to everyone who has lost a loved one like her. Her loss makes me EXTREMELY grateful for my best friend and hubby, Pat.
Then in the hot tub, I say out loud three things I am grateful for. They can be small, but they make me stop and think about who and what is around me, and just how thankful I am for EVERYONE and EVERYTHING.
I often ask the big man upstairs to help guide me in helping others. I know I can help people with their businesses online. I’ve been doing that for over 26 years so I would say I have a bit of experience, and I love doing it!!
The health part, well, that’s been more of a recent thing with my bout of colon cancer. I am always listening to experts and questioning everything. I look at the ingredients of the food I eat, drink, and use on my body or in my home. I make things from scratch now more than ever like yogurt and mayo. Stupid simple.
I have even started removing plastics from my kitchen and home. No more plastic plates or cups! All of my storage containers are glass now.
I try to buy any food products in glass vs. plastic at the store too. I am even using bar shampoo and conditioner (which I love btw!)
I am grateful I can make these changes.
I am grateful I can research the crap out of what we are giving to our families.
I am grateful that people around me are starting to wake up.
I am grateful for you…for reading this all the way through. Let’s make 2025 the best year yet!
What are YOU grateful for?
